No matter what field you’re in, the principles of coaching remain the same.

In that respect, Business Coaching is very similar to sports coaching. In sports, a coach pushes an athlete to achieve optimum performance by providing support when they are exhausted, and teaches the athlete to execute plays that their competition does not anticipate.

A sports coach will make you run more laps and make you work harder than you would on your own, even when you don’t feel like it. A sports coach will tell it like it is and they will listen.

Fortunately, a Business Coach does many of the same things, but in a way that is focused on creating a successful business.

The role of a Business Coach is to coach business owners through guidance, support, accountability and encouragement.

Business Coaching helps owners of small and medium-sized businesses with their sales, marketing, management, team building and so much more. Most importantly, just like a sporting coach, your Business Coach will make you focus on the game.

I have owned and run 6 businesses in widely differing sectors. I am comfortable working in different marketplaces, and this knowledge allows me to cross-pollinate between sectors.

However, it’s important to understand that I am not there to run your business for you, and you will always know more than me about the minutiae of your business; for example “which widget machine should I buy?”.

At the same time, every business is based on common themes and activities; customers, marketing, sales, staff, financials, leadership and management, strategic planning, etc, and it’s my role to coach, challenge, guide and educate you in these and many other areas.

I will bring sophisticated and proven systems to provide hundreds of profit-building strategies, right across every area of your business. You’ll soon see how powerful these systematised approaches are. Together we can apply these systems to make your business more effective.

We’ll work out the most appropriate way forward for your business to achieve the goals and challenges you are committed to. You’ll find that it’s just like having a marketing manager, sales team leader, trainer, recruitment specialist, and a corporate consultant, all for one nominal investment.

    • Systems & Business Development – End the hopeless cycle of the business running you and begin running your business. I will show you the secrets to having the business ‘work’ … even when you’re not there.
    • Customer Service – How to deliver your product or service consistently, making it easy for your customers to buy, leaving them feeling delighted with your service. Ways to motivate your current customers to give you referrals and to ensure their repeat business. These are just two of the many strategies I will teach you.

Very little in life is guaranteed. I will back myself and my coaching by guaranteeing to deliver you improved financial results that far outweigh your investment in me. Remember to ask me more about this when we meet.

Remember, though I am still your Business Coach … and I can’t do your work for you. You´re still the player, and it will always be up to you to take the field. I will push you, cajole you, help you, be there for you, and even do some things with you … but in the end, you’ve still got to do the work.

Ultimately, only YOU can ever be truly accountable and responsible for your own success.

I will also provide the best service and support available, to answer your questions and challenges promptly with the most current and appropriate processes and approaches. And last, but not least, I’m fully committed to helping you become successful, whether you like it at the time, or not!

Once I’ve helped you set your goals and create your plan, I´ll do whatever it takes to make sure that you stretch, and strive with all your might to achieve those goals.

At the same time, I’ll be sure to promote balanced living as an overriding theme in all we do. This is to ensure you never compromise either the long-term health and success of your company or yourself. Most importantly, your personal values, and what´s important to you won´t be compromised.

The first few months working together will be challenging, not because of extra work, but because of new tasks and the changes that we’ll introduce. I’ll show you how on a day-to-day basis to get more done with less effort.

After those first few months, you’ll find you’re not working more, just differently. Then depending of course on your goals, from about month six onward, you’ll begin to see the results of all your effort. It’s important to remember that it’s about changing what you do with your time … not putting in more of it.

Yes, I can. I believe that providing training is as important as coaching you.

I can provide you with many different training modules, which include team-building, overcoming obstacles, managing change, sales made simple, telephone power, raving fans customer services training, and more. You´ll be amazed at how much enthusiasm and commitment comes from your team as they experience each training program.

I can also provide sophisticated profiling, testing and evaluation to help you gain perspective on opportunities for team development, hiring, discovering individual strengths, and more. I am an accredited practitioner for the highly effective Wealth and Talent Dynamics programs, and all my clients experience this program.

After an initial phone conversation and if we both decide there is potential to work together we will meet and discuss the challenges and opportunities within your business. It’s also a “get to know each other” session as coaching can only work when there is a personal chemistry.

If we agree to work together there is some simple paperwork and we can then get started.

You’ll then have to invest a few hours in the ‘alignment’ session bringing me up to speed up your business. Together we’ll create a plan and that’s when the work starts. It may seem like a big job at first, but with a coach, you’re sharing the load and together we’ll accomplish great things.

This is where I begin with every business owner/client. You and possibly some of your team will invest anywhere from three hours to a full day, as you learn as much as possible about your business and personal goals, your challenges, frustrations, sales, marketing, finances, and much, much more.

I undertake this with three goals in mind: First to get a snapshot of where your business is, right now. Second, to clarify your goals, both personally and in your business. And third, to get the crucial pieces of information you need to create your high-level business plan for the next 12 months and beyond.

Your investment will depend on the scope of our undertaking together. Once we have met and I have a thorough understanding of your business, I’ll be able to formulate a program to ensure it’s appropriate for your business and the goals and challenges you are committed to.
